Dhaka-Chittagong four-lane highway is surrounded by green nature. Colorful flowers bloomed on various types of flower trees at that place of road division. These different types of flowers and trees are constantly impressing the passengers while traveling on the road. Miles upon miles of colorful roads have been transformed into beautiful flower fairs. Its beauty is enhanced by the rain. The highway has now become a beautiful sight. Looking out of the window of a bus or a car immediately brings peace to anyone's mind. The fragrance floats in the morning air.

It is known that different species of flowers are planted on the dividers so that the headlights of the cars in one lane do not fall on the cars in the opposite lane. Flower gardens can be seen somewhere along the highway. Again, there is a ceremony of green trees somewhere. These flowering plants include Heimanti, Kurchi, Togar, Radhachura, Kanchan, Sonalu, Krishnachura, Kadam, Bakul, Palash, Kabri, Cassia and Jarul.

30 km of Sitakunda-Mirsarai section of the busiest Dhaka-Chittagong highway is decorated with colorful decorations. The island is decorated with all kinds of flowers, big and small, as if it has become a charming flower garden. The island has become bright with the colorful touches of red, white and yellow flowers. Especially on the road from Nizampur Police Investigation Center to Chhota Kamaldah, it seems that trees have been planted on both sides of the road.

The mind-blowing colors of the flowers planted on the island for the beautification of the road instantly attract the attention of long-distance passengers as well as local pedestrians. Passengers are traveling on this highway every day by observing the beauty of the highway wrapped in flower gardens. Passengers and transport concerned are happy in this pleasant environment.

To enhance the beauty of the road, the mind-blowing colors of the flower trees planted on the island are instantly attracting the attention of the long-distance passengers as well as the local pedestrians. Passengers are traveling on this road every day, observing the beauty of the highway wrapped in flower gardens. Many are taking pictures and sharing them on social media.

Tajul Islam Arian, a student of Nizampur Government College, said that now traveling on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway seems to be passing through tourist spots. It is very nice to see a flower garden in the middle of the road. It looks amazing especially during monsoons. Special thanks to Bangabandhu's daughter Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for such a beautiful decision.

Roni Nag, who travels on the highway, said, I travel from Mirsarai to Chittagong city every day. It is very nice to see a flower garden sometimes on the highway. Day by day the attraction of such beautiful flower garden is increasing on the highway.

Businessman Abul Kalam Azad said that the island flowers on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway are beautiful and beautiful. However, in some places, apart from flowers, some trees like kadam and kadai have been planted in the island, which if grown, may increase the number of obstacles and accidents on the road in the future in adverse weather, natural and man-made disasters.

Starting from Chittagong city gate to Daudkandi on the highway, there are about 100,000 spring flower gardens of 13 species on the 143 km road. Some places have different species of fruit trees.

Since 2017, this planned garden has been created through regular maintenance at Sarkadwip. Apart from various types of flowers, olive, arjuna, jackfruit, mahogany, Shishu, Akashmani, Chalta, neem, acacia, haritaki and other species of fruits and medicinal plants are also present in this highway divider. 35 workers work regularly in the maintenance of this garden. In the full monsoon season, the wetness of the rain bath has come back to life.

In the meantime, the incredibly beautiful purple flowers blooming on the forest Jarul tree in the summer are sitting on the mug branches in the hot afternoon as if they have formed a loving relationship with the sky. Nature is decorated in its own glory with the touch of magical zarul flower with yellow pollen. In the middle of the dark black highway, even on a boring afternoon, surrounded by greenery, the glow of Jarul flowers gives the road a heavenly touch.

Environmentalist Professor Dr. Idris Ali said, 'This flower and fruit garden on the highway caught my eye too. It's great for travel as well as the environment. We can save the environment by having gardens planned like this on every highway.'

Zulfikar Ahmed, Executive Engineer of Roads and Public Ways Department, Chittagong (Soaz), said that various species of flowering trees have been planted to enhance the beauty of the Dhaka-Chittagong road. Which attracts passengers, drivers and pedestrians traveling on this route. These trees are also taken care of regularly. On the other hand, so that the light from one side does not come to the other side and cause an accident, low height flower trees have been planted. If the tree grows too big, the branches are cut short.
